LaDawn has been a licensed massage therapist for twenty years - first having her own studio and then branching out to work for CARTI, where she worked with cancer patients as an Oncology massage therapist specializing in manual lymph drainage. Finding that very rewarding, she looked for another high need area, and became certified in geriatric massage and went to work for hospice and a nursing home, giving comfort through touch to the dying and elderly. While still practicing massage, LaDawn returned to a traditional college, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Writing.
Next, she specialized in pre-natal massage, realizing that there are special aches and pains that massage can help. She has been a college instructor, has taken advanced training in fibromyalgia treatments, reflexology, and spa services.
LaDawn has been married 34 years and she and her husband have three grown children and four grandchildren. When she is not massaging, spending time with her family is her favorite activity.
